After having kids fitness can sometimes be put on the backburner. Maybe you have a gym membership, even with daycare included but your kids may not stay in there long enough for you to even warm up. There’s always the option of working out at home in your living room, but in all honesty, I don’t have the discipline for that right now.
I recently found iStroll and it has honestly been something that I didn’t even know I needed. iStroll has made such an impact on me physically and mentally.
What is iStroll?
iStroll is group fitness for moms but also so much more. Meetups are 3 times a week and kids and strollers are permitted. Moms are able to work out and make their health a priority again while the kids get to run around and have fun.
iStroll has also created a community. Connecting with other moms who understand where you are in your life is so refreshing, and allowing the kids to socialize is so important. There are monthly Mom night out meetups that are so much fun. I look forward to getting out of the house and having adult time with other moms while still being able to talk about my kids.
What’s in it for the kids?
The kids get to run around and play with each other at the park, or even work out with their moms. This gives them time to socialize and teaches them how important and fun being active can be.
iStroll has monthly crafts for the kids which gives them something to look forward to and gives them a mental workout as well.
Emma looks forward to working out and seeing her friends every week which makes me feel better knowing she is able to join me during this time and is having fun too.

Aside from being active and working on my health again, istroll has been great for my mental health.
Being a mom is hard and as much as you love your kids it can feel so lonely and exhausting. Having something to look forward to weekly with other moms who make me feel normal in this season of life is something I didn’t even realize I needed.
