Labor and delivery nurses do so much for us, and everyone needs a little love during this trying time. I made small little thank you bags for all of my nurses and thought I would share some ideas in case this is something you find yourself wanting to do.
WHATS IN THE BAG
- These are the items I personally put in the bags for my nurses.
- Hand sanitizer. I’m sure they already use a lot but what’s a little more in the middle of a pandemic?
- Hand lotion: with the amount of hand washing they do and the hand sanitizer they use I’m sure lotion will go a long way.
- Hair ties: We are all girls here, we know the importance of a good hair tie.
- Chapstick: Listen you can never have enough chapstick
- Starbucks instant coffee: I thought a little boost would be nice.
- Bath salts: Everyone can use a good soak after a hard day at work.
ADDITIONAL IDEAS
- Pens: (personalized or not) always an amazing idea for nurses!
- Socks: fun socks can spice up their uniform and brighten their day.
- Personalized cups/tumblers: This is a go-to for me I love a good tumbler for coffee/ drinks.
- Healthy snacks: these can be nuts, granola bars, protein bars, and more. individually wrapped is best!
- Gift cards: Small gift cards like Starbucks, dutch bros, etc. under $10
- Chocolates: little individual chocolates are a cute idea.
- Cards: actual handwritten cards are so sweet.
