Being pregnant is such a beautiful thing… but it’s also very uncomfortable, at least for me. I’ve heard of the pregnancy glow but y’all lets be real here the only glow I get when pregnant is from sweating. I put together a list of my favorite things that have helped me through both of my pregnancies, call them my must haves if you will. Hopefully you get use out of these as well! Ill name off all of the products I use then I will link them HERE in the Liketoknow.it app! I do make a small commission from anything purchased from liketoknow.it, as always I appreciate all of your support!
I LOVE the biker shorts trend, and when I found maternity biker shorts I was so excited! Game changer. Biker shorts are so comfortable and they are cute whether they are paired with a work out top, fitted top or loose tee. These also help me a lot by reducing chaffing. TMI? Well you’re about to have a baby there’s never too much information anymore.
Pregnancy pillows are a must! There is a certain point in your pregnancy where you almost always feel uncomfortable, getting out of bed almost feels like you are a turtle stuck on its back. I love my pregnancy pillow and it definitely helps ease some of the pressure in my back and stomach at night. I highly recommend one, I prefer the C shape but I heard the U shapes are awesome as well, so I will link both for you!
A comfy pair of pj’s are so helpful as well! I am all about comfort, if im not in these pjs then I am lounging in my hubby’s underwear and a t-shirt. I also bring these pjs to the hospital so I am not only comfortable but also covered up.
These Aerie cotton boyshort underwear are so comfortable, I do size up and I also will bring these to the hospital. I’m telling you now a thong won’t cut it when you’re in the hospital, and thong doesn’t always cut it when I am pregnant either. Comfort is huge during pregnancy and recovery.
These dresses are life savers during my pregnancies. If I don’t have to wear pants I won’t, and towards the end these dresses are all that are comfortable. and most likely all that fits me too.
Maternity leggings are the next best thing! When I go on walks I love to throw these on to be more comfortable and again helps with the chaffing. If I am lounging around the house or have put on self-tanner these also are my go to.
Belly bands are really nice if you have a lot of lower belly pressure or lower back pain, they help take the pressure off. This pregnancy I have a lot more pain than I did with my first so the belly bands have definitely helped.
I love the honest body butter and the burts bees body butter, now stretch marks are genetic so no amount of body butter will stop it but it can’t hurt it either. Body butter is such a more desirable consistency to me vs. lotion and I feel like it absorbs better and lasts longer as well.
Besides body butter I LOVE body oil and burts bees / honest both have amazing ones! I apply body oil directly after the shower, all over. Really.. all over not just on the belly.. I love the moisture that it locks in as well as that nice little glow the oil gives too. I definitely recommend trying one of these out.
My Adidas cloud foam shoes have been heavenly for this pregnancy, with Emma my feet ached all the time and these shoes have truly made a difference this time around!
The last thing I am going to add is random but it’s a lifesaver to me! My hydro flask. I try to drink a ton of water during pregnancy and my hydro flask helps me do just that. It keeps my water cold and I always have it by my side. I also bring this with me to the hospital because those hospital cups they give you do not keep the water cold.
I would love to hear your feedback if you use nay of these products, I would love to hear what your pregnancy must haves are as well! Once again linking all products HERE for y’all to take a little look at, everything will be on my Instagram as well!
