Finding the right diaper bag can be such an intimidating thing to do. I remember a jujube messenger bag was the first thing I got when I found out I was pregnant with Emma. Funny enough within the first month I was over the bag and needed something that better suited me and my lifestyle. Personally, I prefer backpack type bags, so all three I will be talking about today are that style, I will throw in the Jujubee I originally got when I had Emma because it was super cute, I am just not a messenger bag person.
If price isn’t a factor and you need the space the Itzy Ritzy Boss bag is amazing. I purchased mine about a month ago because I needed the extra space now that I will have 2 under 2 in just a few short months. I love that this bag is spacious but also doesn’t make me feel like a ghost buster, its slender and long and I like that fit a lot. It also fits right in the undercarriage of my stroller and has additional straps so it can be clipped onto a stroller as well. This bag has SO MANY POCKETS. I love pockets. I am pretty sure there are 17 pockets all together. There’s space for both Emma and Noah’s diapers, a slot to put wipes in, two little zipper pouches inside which I have things like sunscreen, fruit snacks and sunglasses inside. There’s room for a change of clothes for both kids, formula containers bottles and more. One side has an open insulated pouch and the other has a zippered insulated pouch which is perfect. The top has a little zippered pouch that my keys fit in perfectly, the back has a separate compartment for the changing pad and the front has two cute magnet pockets where I out my mom stuff like lip glosses tampons and hand sanitizer. Besides all of the storage this bag is super cute and sleek, there are several different colors which I love because who doesn’t love options? Also, Itzy Ritzy makes the cutest accessories for their bags like these super cute binky holders. This bag is my #1 choice if you want something stylish but also need something with enough space for two kiddos. It retails for $160 on their site and also sells at buy buy baby. I had a 20% off coupon so I got it for $130 at buy buy baby.
The compact bag. The Itzy Ritzy Mini is the backpack I have used for the last year. Having just Emma I didn’t need anything huge. This bag is small but the space is set up Wiseley and I never had an issue running out of space. I was able to fit her diapers, wipes, snacks, formula container, my wallet and an extra set of clothes inside along with a bottle in each side pocket and all my mom things in the front pouch. This bag also has a back pocket with a changing pad in it. The side pockets are not insulated in this bag but I never minded because Emma was formula fed so “ room temp” water was perfectly fine with us. The size of this bag was perfect and so desirable for me, before having Emma I thought I needed somethings huge and crazy but in reality, having a smaller bag was so much nicer. I would definitely say this is my favorite and I would still be using it today if I wasn’t about to need double the size for another little addition. This bag also comes in several different colors and is a vegan leather which is nice. This is another example of a very sleek and stylish diaper bag, I bought this one about a year and a half ago on amazon and at the time is was $80, you can get it on Itzy Ritzy’s site for $84.99.
Ballin on a budget bag. This is a bag I did use inbetween the Jujubee and Mini bag when I had Emma and was trying to figure out what I liked. This bag confirmed that I did love a backpack vs. a messanger bag. It is definitely good quality for the money spent and it is extremely spacious without having the dreaded ghost buster feeling. The one thing I wish I could change about the bag is that it opens from the top, and I like when a bag can fully zip open for easier access of everything inside. Besides that, it really is a great bag, its cute, there’s serval colors and you really cannot beat the price.
I told you guys that I would link the Jujubee because it wasn’t a horrible bag just not what I like. Besides the messenger style this bag is very sleek and cute. It also has good space without being too large of a bag. If the messenger style is what you are into I would definitely consider this bag.
