If you’ve followed me for a while you will know I have been a huge clean-living advocate for years. Being toxic free is so important to me and my family and I make a very strong effort to make sure everything I use in my house and on our bodies, is not only effective but safe. Living clean is so much better for you and for the environment and if you can be safe at all costs why not do it? Also with my auto immune disease and TED it’s so important to me that the products I am using don’t disrupt my hormones.
Recently I have begun playing with makeup more as when my appearance changed due to my TED my confidence diminished and I wanted to start feeling good about myself again. Rejuva minerals was kind enough to send me one of their Rejuva kits to test out and review for you guys. I am shocked at how amazing these products are.
These products are safe products for sensitive skin (which I struggle with) They are EWG verified which is huge and a very hard verification to get. I absolutely love that I can confidentially put everything on my face and eyes and know I’m not disrupting my hormones or causing any harm to my body.
WHAT COMES IN THE KIT?
First I got the cutest little rose gold bag to hold the cosmetics that came in my kit, I also got a beauty blender ( I have never used one before and I am obsessed) and I chose a brush from their collection, I chose the eye shadow brush.
Age defying Liquid Foundation; I love this foundation, It is very lightweight but I believe it could be buildable as well. I chose the color buff and was pleasantly surprised with how well it matched my skin tone. A lot of times because I am so pale I get an orange tint to my face with foundations but this did not leave any orange color behind at all. The application is very smooth and I can tell this is designed for sensitive skin as it doesn’t irritate my face or cause any red marks at all.
Natural look pressed foundation powder; I love the matte look of a freshly powdered face. I chose the color nude and it again matched wonderfully. This powder is so silky to put on and leaves such a soft matte look to the face without having that cakey look or feel to it. It comes with a tiny powder puff but I really enjoyed the application with a powder brush instead, the powder brush I would use on the go or for touch ups.
Powdered eye shadow; I chose the colors mocha and beach bum. I really like keeping naturals and nudes on my eyes personally and these colors are gorgeous. So subtle and a perfect nude but still enough to give a little pop to the eyes and a softer look.
MEGA LASH; I really love this mascara. It doesn’t clump which is a problem I tend to have with most mascaras, also it is sensitive on the eyes which is something I need. With my TED my eyes water a lot as it is but with certain eye makeups and mascara it was almost unbearable. This doesn’t bother my eyes. The application is so smooth and I love the Volume it gives my lashes.
PUR’ LIPS LIPSTICK; I got the color red-red wine and it turned out to be such a gorgeous color. This lipstick is a nice cream base and it also feels very hydrating, I do carry it with me for applications throughout the day but that doesn’t bother me at all. I cannot wait to pick up more colors from them, I love lipstick so having toxic free options are so fun for me to play with.
Here is my final look! I went for a very soft natural look and I absolutely love it. I also want to add that this look takes me under 10 minutes which is a huge plus since I am a busy mom on the go. I have been wearing all of these products daily since I got my little PR package and I cannot wait to get my hands on more of their makeup!
